Atlantis landed in California June 22, 2007, after delivering a new starboard truss segment and a set of solar arrays to the station. Returning on the shuttle was Sunita Williams, who lived and worked aboard the orbiting complex for six months. Anderson succeeded Williams on the station and arrived with the Atlantis crew on June 10.

"During the flight tests on GE's 747 flying test-bed, we verified the GEnx engine's design and electrical requirements for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner," said Tom Brisken, general manager of the GEnx program. "We conducted numerous tests with maximum horsepower extraction on the starter generators, demonstrated engine operability while generating the maximum electric power requirements envisioned for the 787 aircraft and confirmed the ability of the GEnx engine to successfully restart in flight at various conditions within the 787 flight envelope."

Each of the first class suites offers nearly 26 square feet of usable space that can be closed off with sliding doors. The suites feature a 23-inch flat-screen monitor, storage areas that include a personal hanging wardrobe, dual credenzas with under-ottoman storage, and an 83-inch bed. With a business-jet style table, two can dine comfortably in the suite, according to Boeing.

The A330-300 order adds to eight aircraft already delivered and one aircraft scheduled to arrive in the Summer of 2007, according to Airbus.

The plane had one crewmember aboard and was deployed to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing.
