A small plane carrying pilot and aviation adventurer Steve Fossett has been missing since Monday night, Federal officials said Tuesday.
Teams are searching rugged terrain for a plane carrying the Aviation Hall of Fame member. Fossett is the first person to circle the world solo in a balloon and circumnavigate the earth solo non-stop and un-refueled in a plane.
