Source: NTSB The National Transportation Safety Board has dispatched a team of investigators to assist the government of the United Kingdom in its investigation of today's accident (30 March 2008) in which a Cessna Citation Model 500 business jet crashed into a home near Farnborough, England. The jet was a Bahamian registered, privately operated airplane. All five persons on board were killed. There were no reported fatalities or serious injuries on the ground. The accident occurred at 2:38 p.m. local time. NTSB Chairman Mark V. Rosenker has designated investigator Luke Schiada as the U.S. Accredited Representative. An aviation systems technical specialist will accompany him. The Federal Aviation Administration and the Cessna Aircraft Company are also sending investigators as part of the team. The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch ( AAIB) is leading the investigation and will release all information on its progress. ~~~~~~ Sad news that.
