The blog world is teeming with rumors that the Chicago-based Boeing Company (oh what happened dear old Seattle?) will announce yet another delay, perhaps as long as 3 more months, of the troubled but promising B-787 Dreamliner.

That name is starting to look like an unfortunate choice as the hurdles keep appearing to convert the 787 into a pipe-dreamliner.

But take a deeeeep breath.

This is aviation and aerospace after all. New plane. New technologies.

Guess what? Like most air and spacecraft that have come before, Boeing, by necessity, is making it up as the go along.

That's called invention.

It happens alongside innovation.

Boeing will get this worked out.
