Iranian state television released a brief video of a test launch that US officials claim failed. Iran claims the rocket is capable of lifting a satellite into orbit.

The only information visible on this video of the night launch is that the rocket is powered by a single motor, perhaps solid propellant, and that it cleared the launch tower.
