KC-45A Tanker Contract News Update - Video 8/20/2008

The US Department of Defense says they will release final guidelines for the Air Force Aerial Refueling Tanker Contract in the next week.

The controversial plane - the KC-45, is long overdue and needed to replace a nearly ancient fleet of military KC-135, Boeing 707-based aircraft model.

There are published reports claiming Boeing may drop out of the race all together if the DoD does not change the deadline for submitting a proposal.
