Air France Jet Missing Presumed Crashed Over Atlantic

The details are sketchy in these early hours but it appears an Air France Airbus A330 with over two hundred aboard has crashed somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean on a flight from Brazil to France.

Some published reports claim the crew reported being hit by lightening while in cruise flight. The plane was powered by a version of the GE CF6 jet engine.
