Afghanistan B-1 Bomber Strike Had Problems

There are published reports that the recent strike by a B-1 Bomber in Afghanistan did indeed have irregularities which may have lead to innocent bystanders on the ground being hit.

The details are still sketchy but more are expected to be released soon by the Department of Defense. One issue appears to be that the bomber had to abort the initial bomb run and did not re-confirm (verify) the target when a re-attempt was made.
