ABC News reported tonight that
Cessna is announcing another round of
job cuts that reduce its
workforce by a full fifty percent since November 2008.
These are grim times for
general aviation employment. When I started my flying lessons in the late '70s I recall amazement when told that Cessna made more models of aircraft (at that time) then GM made models of cars (not volume production - just different types).
Oh how times have changed!
