United Breaks Guitars - This is the video that shamed a mega corporation into finally doing the right thing.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/5YGc4zOqozo&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0&amp;color1=0x3a3a3a&amp;color2=0x999999" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/5YGc4zOqozo&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0&amp;color1=0x3a3a3a&amp;color2=0x999999</a>

I loved this video. First, the music is pretty good and the song is nice to hear. The Sons of Maxwell are actually very gentle with United, where they could have really stuck it to them.

But I've had the same experience with the soulless automatons who work at United. The sleaze broke a Nikon camera and flash unit on a flight to Singapore and claimed they did not "have" to fix it and told me to stick it in my ear.

This after I decided to fly them instead of Singapore Airlines (Singapore charged less and offered better service and a younger fleet too) because - because - because??? I wanted to support American business and US jobs - that's why. And my reward? I got stuffed onto a decrepit Boeing 747 built around the time of the bronze age with a set of flight attendants who were so old and rude that the food delivery cart doubled as a walker and when I arrived in Singapore my gear was broken.

Friendly skies my eye.

The moment I heard of this video I knew the event had to be true 'cause United Breaks Guitars, and lotsa other stuff.

Has it happened to you?
