We know it was a British Airways flight from Beijing operating as BA Flight 38 to Heathrow (London). The plane was being flown by the co-pilot (First Officer) at the time of the crash.
It landed short of runway 27 left. No serious injuries.
The plane was a Boeing B-777-300. Is this the first 777-300 crash? First 777 crash?
